Youth Pickleball at Paddleworks
Where Young Players Find Their Game
Paddleworks is excited to help grow the next generation of pickleball players in the Upper Valley!
Our youth programs give kids a fun, welcoming place to learn the game, develop their skills, and stay active while making new friends along the way.
Paddleworks offers programming designed to grow with young players, starting with introduction to Pickleball for players as young as five, continuing with skills development, and culminating with teen leagues.
Learning the game is just the beginning!
MAKING YOUTH PICKLEBALL MORE AFFORDABLE
Thanks to a generous member donation supporting youth pickleball in the Upper Valley, grant funding is available to help make Paddleworks youth programs more accessible to local families.
Eligible programs include a grant subsidy of 40% off the program fee for every participant.
Grant funding also provides all participants with an optional $100 voucher toward essential pickleball equipment, including protective eyewear and paddles.
For families who need additional assistance, need-based scholarships of 25% to 100% of the remaining family cost are also available. For those interested in a scholarship, please email Greg Kutvirt directly at greg@paddleworkspickleball.com .
Our goal is simple: cost won’t keep a child who wants to play pickleball off the court.
**See below for more details on need-based scholarships.
PADDLEWORKS PANTHERS
After-School Pickleball | Ages 9–12
Beginning 11/16
The Paddleworks Panthers after-school program is a fun introduction to regular pickleball play in a supportive environment.
Players learn the fundamentals of the game while developing their serving, returning, movement, shot-making, scoring, and match-play skills. Just as importantly, they’ll spend time being active, playing with other kids, and becoming part of the Paddleworks youth community.
No previous pickleball experience is necessary.
PADDLEWORKS PENGUINS
After-School Pickleball | Ages 5–8
Coming Soon!
The Paddleworks Penguins after-school program introduces our youngest players to pickleball through movement, games, and plenty of fun on the court.
Penguins will develop basic paddle and ball skills, coordination, and an understanding of the game through age-appropriate activities designed to keep kids active and engaged. Along the way, they’ll practice teamwork, build confidence, and make new friends in a positive and encouraging environment.
PADDLEWORKS YOUTH LEAGUE
Ages 10–18
Beginning 12/3
The 8-week Paddleworks Youth League gives young players an opportunity to develop their game through regular, once a week practice and organized match play on Saturday mornings. Participants will choose Thursday (10-14 yrs) OR Friday (14-18 yrs) practice and all will come together for Matchday Saturday.
The emphasis is on improvement, good sportsmanship, friendly competition and FUN. Players will build confidence on the court while learning how to play points and matches against a variety of opponents.
Players of different experience levels are welcome, with activities and competition structured appropriately whenever possible.
*There will be a two week hiatus during winter break. Practice will resume on 1/7/27.
